One thing that cannot be prevented regardless of all the planning in the world is the rain. When its ready, it’s coming down, and it sure did come down heavy on us in Orlando for carnival. That didn’t stop the carnival though. The second the rain stopped the masqueraders were refreshed, revived and ready to put on a show.

Orlando isn’t the biggest of carnivals, but what is lacking in size is more than made up for in vibes. In the coming years this will surely continue to grow along with the Orlando soca scene as a whole. We here at the UK Soca Scene look forward to seeing this growth first hand.
