Trini Posse UK: Caribbean Christmas Cheer Review – Sat 8th Dec 2012
Festive Vibes are nice vibes.
Seasons festivities were in full swing at Brogans Bar in Fulham with Trini Posse last night. They took over the upper floor and rear of the bar, whilst the front was open to the general public as usual. However, Trini Posse UK provided the music for the entire bar and this had interesting results.
This night was not only about celebrating the season. It was about giving back too. Charities had been chosen and there was a collection table set aside for providing food and toys for those less fortunate.

The Vibe: Infectious. Soca has been repeatedly described as an infectious vibe. This was proven again on this night. The general public who probably had no idea what they were listening to, couldn’t help but be taken in by the rhythm.
The Music: A mixture of Soca & Parang was the soundtrack to the night. In addition to this, there was additional percussion from the rhythm section.
The Crowd: Multi-cultural and all enjoying the festivities. Later in the night, food was also provided (which I must say was very good) and the tables to the rear of the bar provided an ideal place to lime.
All-in-all: A different well thought about event which not only got us in the Christmas mood, but reminded us that it is also a time of giving back and helping others.
