Christina Mais Interviews Patrice Roberts in Jamaica

Hey friends! It is a new year and you already know that SheSoca is starting it with a bang! What better way than with an interview with one of the most talented soca artistes in the industry; Patrice Roberts.

Patrice has been going hard lately, releasing a number of hits for the 2017 carnival season, so it was vital that I had to link up with her when she touched down in Jamaica for her performance at the Bacchanal Jamaica Band Launch and Fete (which was on 7th January 2017).

It was a pleasure getting the inside scoop on all the big things in store for her this year.

Going into the interview I did not know what to expect. Of course my nerves were turned all the way up that day, I wanted everything to run smoothly.

Patrice was on time and looking stunning as usual; she was professional, funny and had positive vibes straight throughout interview.

We covered everything from her favourite Jamaican food to her fitness regime and her plans for Jamaica Carnival 2017. We also spoke about her views on women empowerment in the industry which is what SheSoca is all about.

It was an excellent interview overall and I would definitely like to thank Patrice Roberts for taking the time to speak to SheSoca.
