The Double award winning international artist Ms Desire made her inaugural mark on the soca industry in 2008
with her sweet groovy track “Control it” and her infectious power track “Move”.

Born Louise Sterling-Jackman, Ms Desire started singing at the tender of seven and is no stranger to the stage. Attending the United Kingdom’s most renowned Performing Arts’ schools “NLPAC” and “Sylvia Young”, Ms. Desire has some formal training and possesses the intangible tools of passion, creativity and innovation.

Desire started singing in her church choir, which gave her the fundamental skills she needed to catapult her career. Desire went onto develop and hone her skills in singing and dancing, performing all over the United Kingdom; including being one of the chosen few selected to perform in front of the Queen for her Golden Jubilee.

In her debut single with Precision Productions, Ms. Desire lives up to her nomenclature, with a very sultry rendition of the Jus10 Ward written track, “Give It To Me”.

New to the TnT Soca scene, the current holder of the UK Groovy Soca Monarch title storms on board with a bold, sexy style that reflects the freedom enjoyed by the modern woman who succinctly declares what she wants, with no holds barred.

She is aptly aided in her endeavor by the teasing team Precision melodies, alongside catchy lyrics by the very talented Bajan songwriter.

Ms. Desire is ‘Ready Fa Dis’

‘Ready Fa Dis’ is the second release from Ms. Desire for the Crop‐Over 2012 Season. This sweet sounding Ragga Soca track was produced by the Award‐Wining producer Peter Coppin out of Barbados.

Ms. Desire penned the track herself and explained, ‘I had the concept from just after Kadooment day last year, I knew exactly how I wanted it to sound and the vibe I wanted it to have; I knew that it was only Coppin that could do it justice”

Just signing her first sponsorship deal with Yard-Gear Clothing, Ms. Desire is set to take Berlin Carnival by storm. Working hard on promoting both her music and television show ‘Desire’s World’ which is aired to a million plus viewers in the United Kingdom.

Ms. Desire is most definitely ready for the Carnival Season as she said, “I have been working to perfect my music for many years now and I just have a feeling that this years music will set me apart from the rest; showcasing my talent”

Ms. Desire will be travelling to LA for the annual International Soca Awards, where her 2011 Crop-Over release ‘Mind Ya Bizness’ also produced by Coppin is included on the nominated ‘Best Soca Compilation of the Year’ for the Santana Movie Soundtrack.

Ms. Desire’s first solo appearance this season will take patrons at the Liquor Inn, in the United Kingdom on a Caribbean experience this Friday 18th May 2012; and she plans to continue the experience throughout the whole season because she is really and truly ‘Ready Fa Dis’
