On this Particular trip to Dubai, DJ Stephen, accompanied by his manager Jelani Hunte, both had a chance to take in the full experience and lifestyle of the local culture. Wearing traditional clothing, eating authentic local foods as well as enjoying some of its world famous attractions, the fun filled Dessert Safari, The worlds tallest building, Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall and much more. By doing this, they were able to connect the dots and similarities to our West Indian culture that would better prepare them for whats ahead.

The Event: BACCHANAL FRIDAY. Put on by The Caribbean Vybez Team, a locally based promotion company striving to promote and educate the people of Dubai and beyond on Caribbean music, arts and culture. The Event took place at their newly birthed BACCHANAL LOUNGE located, based on our knowledge between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The Event Started at 2pm and carried on until early hours into the next morning. As DJ Stephen describes, it was a very diverse melting pot of people. From Lebanon, Sudan, Dominica, the US Virgin Islands, Ethiopia, Egypt, Guyana and not to mention of course Trinidad & Tobago. Patrons Danced all night to a nice mix of Soca, Dancehall, Afro-Beats they even started a limbo dance competition. Non stop vybez by the International Ambassador Dj Stephen and Dj DSA a long time colleague who now resides in Dubai.
