Huddersfield Carnival – Saturday 12th July 2014 

It was a lovely hot day up in Huddersfield on Saturday which made for perfect carnival settings. Take a look at what happened up the road.

What’s Happening This Week?

Caribbean Carnival of Manchester – Saturday 19th July 2014  

A two day vibrant celebration of Caribbean culture, past and present. With a procession, music, food, street athletics and much more.
The eagerly anticipated procession will weave through the streets of Moss Side, Hulme and surrounding areas; showcasing a variety of customised floats with sound systems pumping out the sound of Carnival followed by exotic dance troupes with their vibrant, elaborately designed Carnival costumes. Expect to hear Soca, Calypso and the unmistakable sound of the Caribbean, Steel pan bands.
