Notting Hill Carnival 2014: Euphoria Band Launch

Last night we were taken on a journey to the land of happiness in the depths of Brazil. Bahia is the theme for Euphoria’s Notting Hill Carnival 2014 offerings.

Euphoria took residence at Revolution in Tower Hill, using the venue’s unique feel to mirror the bands characteristics.

Not only were we given an exotic theme, but we were also blessed with some very talented Capoeira dancers to warm up the then tame crowd before the costumes were revealed. Also on show were the latest stylings from Amosh Clothing, offering a taster of their womens fashions.

As we’ve said before, 2014 has seen a different level of costume being showcased. This year we have seen some of the best costumes the UK has ever offered from various mas bands; Euphoria are no exception. Their vibrant nature, fun and excitement has been carried through into the designs of their costumes resulting in a fantastic selection to choose from.

After the Capoeira dancers, clothing and costume models, the crowd really found their spark. You’d be forgiven for thinking you were actually in Brazil with the temperature in the room. Once revellers started pumping, there was no stopping. DJ Shep Beats & DJ Markee maintained the flow taking us on a musical time travel. Food was on offer and (if you didn’t mind a queue) there was a huge selection of drinks at the bar.

Euphoria Mas band offer a premium experience from a team of passionate carnival lovers and as they say; “the name is just the beginning”. If you would like more information or to register to play mas with Euphoria click here.
